Saddleworth Clarion is a growing cycling club with 90+ members from the Saddleworth villages, Oldham, Tameside and Kirklees.

We organise on and off road club rides and events in and around the beautiful Pennine countryside of Saddleworth. We welcome riders of all abilities to the club.

Our aim is simple - to enjoy the full spectrum of cycling activities in the company of others, from the recreational through to the competitive, both on and off the road. With experienced cyclists and newcomers alike, we share our interests, knowledge and experience for the benefit of all in the club.

We run Saturday & Sunday club rides that meet in Uppermill for a 9 a.m. start to different weekly destinations, usually a cyclist friendly café.  For those that are perhaps new to cycling or nervous about joining a club we run a beginners ride on the last Saturday of each month.

If you become a member, one of the benefits is access to SPOND,  which has ride schedules as well as chat amongst club members.
